It is helpful to alleviate the pain but gives me diarrhea and clogs my nose up. This may be me having an allergic reaction.

The pill was effective as a contraceptive, but I did not have a good experience with the side effects of the medication despite this being a "low dose" bcp. However, that being said, everyone has a different experience with different medications especially with the bcp because of people's different reactions to the hormones. I experienced headaches, fatigue, moodiness, and a considerable increase in breast size.

After taking Advil menstrual cramps did ease up and I was able to maintain normal activities. After a couple hours the pain intensified and I had to continue taking the pills to relieve pain.

I have been taking Allegra-D for quite some time. Over the past 5 years, I have had increasingly painful menstrual cramps to the point where it affects bowel movements. I recently did some research and found that Allegra-D can be a cause for menstrual cramps. I stopped taking Allegra-D and the menstrual cramping and painful bowel movements have gone back to normal. I think the prednisone made me feel worse and once I stopped taking it all the aforementioned negative symptoms disappeared.
