prilosec otc worked fairly well for me. i'm not having stomach pains & heartburn as i was before. the only things i really noticed are i take the pill in the morning everyday. by the time it is the next morning, i feel the pain again until i take the pill. i'm hoping after the 14 day treatment that this does not occur because i will not be able to take the pills anymore. it is my 7th day on the pill & i've expierienced a piercing, stabbing headache in the back of my head & behind... My daughter took this back in 2007. Many problems bleeding and severe mood changes. She actually took it for Pcos.She is now on neon she is seeing Endo today to possibly get off all birth control.Make sure to use name brands sometimes generics don't work with your system.

This pill has given me nothing but problems from the start. During the first few months I experienced weight gain, very sore breasts, mood swings, and worst of all hair loss. I would lose large clumps in the shower everyday. Also my periods were completely erratic. I was more regular when I was on no birth control. Eventually my hair stopped falling out and my breast stopped being sore, so I kept taking it. I've been on it for 10 months and now I'm pregnant! I'm not one of those people... View full comment

Without it on a daily basis, I will develop hives. If I am consistent, hives will not appear. The only draw back is having to see a doctor to refill the prescription as there is not an over the counter drug that emulates it.

I've been on Pristiq since the end of March. The negatives..the nausea was a beast the first few weeks but not intolerable. I don't sleep as well at night but its not to the point of insommnia. The positive, I am much more even, not nearly as irritable, etc. Still have some anxiety but its also better. I have lost over 10 lbs. I have no desire for sweets (which I ate everyday) or alcohol (which I drank very little of anyway - maybe 1-2 drinks a month if that). My libido isn't there but it has... View full comment

it's very hard for me to judge my experience with any one drug. I take at least a dozen medications, so I'm not sure what side effects are from what drugs. I believe the accupril was prescribed to me for my Raynauds and it seems to help.
