With Bactrim (generic) I get immediate relief from my chronic prostatitis symptoms. However, during my last two bouts with this condition, I have also had my high blood pressure drop into the normal range. The first time, the drop was extreme so that I discontinued the high blood pressure medication for about 3 months before it returned. betamethason worked really well on my body rash, apparently some rashes can arise from stress and after applying this cream my rash eventually cleared, and not that many scars remained.

I've never had a problem with achieving an erection, but over the last two years or so the stiffness factor has suffered some, especially towards the end of the job. With a 50 mg Viagra, I get a blue steel throbber. Cat couldn't scratch it! My wife LOVES it. Not many side affects, slight headache sometimes. MUST take on an empty stomach, though. Alcohol in moderation (2-3 drinks) doesn't seem to have an affect. I'm sold. Should have started taking Viagra a few years ago.

Update. The worry over Lantus is over for me. I tried Levemir for a couple of months, before switching back to Lantus as it made no difference to the pain. Then I had a diagnosis of polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) a few weeks ago. This was after several visits to my doctor and a rheumatologist, blood tests and a radiological bone scan. I'm now on a lowish dose of prednisolone (10mg/day), with calcium (800mg/day) and alendronic acid (70mg once per week) to protect my bones from the steroid. Most... View full comment

You need to report the muscle pain, you could get permanent muscle damage with cholesterol meds, I myself would not take it if you have muscle pain, this could indicate that it maybe is starting to damage your muscles and joints. I have tried five different statin drugs like baycol, zorcor and crestor....etc and they make me hurt all over, just got niaspan last night and didn't sleep and woke up lightheaded and had heart palpatations, probably won't take this either!!!!
