I got my thyroid radiated 9 yrs ago and went hypo soon after. I was prescibed levoxyl but I have never felt the same. I still have a goiter but smaller. I'm often cold and have low energy but my hands shake and at night I have trembling in my torso and arms. If my thyroid was radiated, is some of it still active and can I switch to different meds.? My so 15y5m has taken two dozes (5 globules each) of Hyoscyamus 30C on 17 Nov 09 and 15 Dec 09. He is Autistic with attention deficiency, ticks, twitches, involuntary movements, restlessness, sleeplessness etc. Both times first 10 days his condition is much worse. It feel much better when I take the Cymbalta. I would tell anyone to take it if they needed to. The only problem I have had with Cymbalta is that I have unusual vivid dreams. I think a combination of my anxiety and the Cymbalta had made me gain some weight.
