I take Ibuprofen OTC for headaches, body aches, cold/flu, joint pain, etc. I usually take 400-600 mg and it is wonderful because it helps with pain and inflammation with NO side effects. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out I preferred taking 800 mg ibuprofen over tylenol, darvocet, hydrocodone, and percocet. I have used Aloe Vera for different skin rashes and for the occasional sun burn and it has always pulled through. I have not seen any side effects, but I've often had to supplement my use of Aloe Vera with other prescribed medications.
