Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour. HORRIBLE MEDICATION !!!! Cough all of the time, itch and don't get much sleep. Also gained 30 pounds. Would not reccomend this at all. I quit today. Enough is enough, hope it gets out of my system quick. Blood pressure has not dropped very much either.

I have had pain in my muscles and joints as well as severe pain in my left arm/hand. My ability to do resistence (weight) training has been diminished. I can not lift as much weight and the weight I do lift, I cannot do as many reps. I get extremely dizzy if any exercise involves stooping or bending.

It's been a miracle drug to help get me off vicoden and fentynal. Couldn't have gotten off all the pain killers without it. But, I wish my doctor would have tapered it off after a few weeks and not kept me on it for 4 or 5 years now. I'm having severe memory problems and sort of feel numb to emotions.

My family has a history of osteoporosis and bone loss, so I take extra steps to make sure my bones are taken care of. Calcium works really well, I feel healthy and strong. The only thing I don’t like about calcium is that the one I take are huge and are sometimes hard to swallow. The taste is also very bad, so to mask the taste, I usually take it with orange juice or raspberry tea.

Taking Lupron shots to make me go into menapause so I can take Aromasin for breast cancer. Fatigue is bad. Hot flashes, sweats, chills, fever off and on, depression is bad, now my hands/fingers are numb/tingling and hurt. I hate this drug. For 4 days after I get the shot I am in bed, I cry and I"m depressed and I feel so sick like I have the flu and I hurt all over. I think this drug is killing me.
