Have been on Lipitor for 3 months now. Just got blood test results (fasting). Went from 250 down to 173!!!! Only thing I wasn't happy with was my sugar (glucose) went from previous 100 to 128 ( a little elevated)..I AM NOT going on sugar pills!!!! Maybe just coincidence!!

Last year while I had the H1N1 virus (didn't know it was the virus at the time, I had it prior to all the publicity) I was taking Zicam to relieve the sinus congestion that I had. I may have taken it a little longer than prescribed because what I had was not going away, nasty flu. Anyway I did get better but I have lost my sense of smell! It's been over a year now and it still has not come back.

I've taken Lisinopril for about 12 years. The last year and a half I started to get a "patchy numbness" on the bottom of my feet. I felt that this was most likely due to the addition of Clonidine to my blood pressure Rx's. I told my doctor about this and she then doubled my Clonidine. After that, the numbness got worse and I started to develop a rash around my ankles. It got to a point where I had to insist getting off the Clonidine. I took Lupron Depot in 12/09 prior to hysterectomy to shrink a fibroid. Never worked and now I have developed hashimotos and continued breathng problems. I had a complete physical in 5/09 and was in excellent health except for heavy periods due to fibroid. Wish doctor had give me birth control pills instead. Do not take this drug unless you have no other options.
