after reading several difffernt sites about the side effects of femcon, i think i have an explanation for my extreme nausea, sudden blurred vison, joint pain, ridiculous weight gain and digestion problems. however, i just saw my obgyn last week, told her of these issues and no connection (except the weight) was made to femcon. also, i am a runner and since starting on the femcon i have had an acute problem with joint pain and fatigue durring my runs, thus causing me to run at a slower pace... Coartem is not like nivaquine ( another medication that I used to take for malaria) which used to itch me seriously. The main disturbing side effects are that it makes me tired and dizzy. A part from that, it is a good medication.

Initially after starting Claravis, I broke out with large cysts that had to be injected and drained by the Derm Dr. After over two months of treatment, I am still breaking out with milder acne, but my skin is terrible red, fragile, peeling, scaling, and in general, looks TERRIBLE. In some ways it is better, but in other ways, it is so much worse. I feel stiff, sore, and generally uncomfortable.
