My 15 year old son has ADHD. He has been on numerous stimulants over the years as well as Strattera. The stimulants caused decreased weight and appetitie and increased frustration. While they helped with focus, the tradeoffs were difficult. He currently is on Vyvanse 50 mg daily and began Intuniv 1mg three weeks ago and has titrated up to 3 mg. My child was given an adult dose every 28 days for 9 months and now has Osteopenia, low D levels (22) and several other bone issues that have made her disable. There are no doctors that will validate that the overdose cased her problems. She was a very active, normal child before this happen. Stay AWAY from this drug at all cost!!
