I have been taking Effexor XR in combination with Lexapro for 5 years. Recently deciding to fast and cleanse I stopped taking both meds. Please do not stop abrubtly as I did. Follow the advice of your physician and wean off the meds. I experienced extreme withdrawls including sleeplessness, flash headaches, nausea, extreme sadness and suicidal thoughts. It needs to be addressed that this drug can help you and hurt you all at the same time...god forbid you try to get off this drug...its extremely hard...I never ever had cravings to drink..and this stuff made me want to drink like you'd want a chocolate bar or coffee and you know I had to give in..now i'm fighting coming off this drug and the desire for alcohol...neither of which are fun...I have been sober for 6 weeks now...and I can only imagine what this drug has done to my already damaged... Listen to me if you don't listen to anyone else. DO NOT GET THE REST OF THE HPV VACCINES. THEY CAN HARM YOU OR KILL YOU! They can cause your immune system to over-react and attack your own body. Unfortunately, I know this from experience. The illness can be life-threatening. I am a registered nurse practicing for 30 years now-these vaccines are dangerous.
