Since starting on this drug last year, my "attacks" have reduced tremendously and I'm able to work with confidence now. However, my biggest problem with Betahistine is that I have been experiencing severe muscle cramps recently which at times can be very painful. I have also lost some weight and I try to eat more to compensate! Is their any way one can ensure that he/she maintains her/his weight when on this drug? My sexual appetite has also gone down. Any comments?

I was put on Ortho Tri-Cyclen as an attempt to regulate my menstrual cycle and hopefully to help lessen the intense, almost debilitating cramps I experienced every month. It helped with no side effects for me, and also had the added benefit of clearing up my acne, which I hadn't expected.

My Daughter will be 13 in one month and received her 2nd shot of gardisil two days ago. Within 3 hrs of receiving the shot, she was curled up on the couch with extreme pain in her legs, dizziness, nausia, and a splitting headache. The pain progressed to her arms by yesterday afternoon, along with the other symptoms, leading her doctor to suspect Guillain-Barré syndrome. I was taking agomelatin associated as an alternative to a classical SSRI, to cure deep depression. However, if my sleep quality increased deeply and I felt more self confident, I started to too have emotional instability, especially strong aggressiveness burst. I have endometriosis and we tried several different birth control pills before my doctor recommended the Mirena device to me. It was very expensive (of course my insurance doesnt cover the device) and it was very painful when she put it in. I had irregular bleeding for the three months that I had it in me and I experienced some of the most painful cramps I had ever had in my life. I could only stand three months of it and I had to have her remove it. It was a waste of 800.00 for me.
