One month after quitting smoking I suffered a fairly severe asthma attack and 3 episodes of migraine aura around 11 am daily (always had allergic rhinitis ,classic migraine which for the past 20 years or so no longer includes headache, just aura, and various food additive allergies), followed by a mild stroke causing temporary paresis of right leg from knee to foot. I have been taking Topamax for quite a few years. Topamax worked great when I first started to take it then I needed more and more. I think you build up an immunity to it.

cryselle is terribl. I was on a different generic version of low-ovral 28 and when my pharmacy changed it to cryselle I was so unhappy. the first week of taking it i was so hungry, eating everything in sight, my mood changed, mood swings, depressed. the second week i started breaking out terribly - more than i ever have in my life. huge cystic pimples that i couldn't pop. my face continued to break out until i got my period and took the week of placebo pills probably because i wasn't taking t... I've had chronic breathing difficulty through my nose, mostly during the change of seasons. I started taking Sudafed and now I can breathe through my nose. That means a lot. I take it three times a day now, and generally speaking, I don't have problems breathing through my nose.

My blood pressure is back to normal. So that is great. But I'm experiencing many side effects I don't like and I may not be able to continue to tolerate - like really bad heartburn, loss of appetite, insomnia, swelling in extremities, painful joints, and others. I don't wanna die from high blood pressure.... but i feel lousy in a way I never felt before. So, I may need to try to a different med.
