I was sick of taking Benadryl Allergy because it made me really drowsy and I was really tired the next morning. I started using Visine-A to avoid the drowsiness, but it didn't really do anything for the itching. Visine is good for getting rid of the redness though.

Did control blood pressure--it was a sort of last resort effort from the doctor after more than a decade of blood pressure refusing to be under control with multiple, simultaneious drugs. But I had an utterly inappropriate manic ideation. I know it's supposed to remove epinephrine from the system; maybe I had a co-cortisol cascade. It's great for dealing with congestion/hay fever, but I stopped taking Drixoral after a short period of time because for me the dry mouth and thirst outweighed the benefits. I found myself drinking much more than usual because of my dry mouth, and consequently having to visit the bathroom much more frequently than usual. I was using Tramadol for pain after an incision and it really helped heal the pain. Before Tamadol I was using other pain relievers and I found Tramadol to be so much more effective.
