Was started on Ramapril for High BP after 6 weeks develpoed constant bad cough. Doctor changed it to losatan now 5weeks in get daily headache which last all day. Plus aches and pains in joints and double vision, and also very vivid dreams if I can actualy get to sleep. Not happy , am back at doctors today in hope of finding a BP med that I can tolerate without getting side effects that stop me from being able to work or function in daily life.

Without it on a daily basis, I will develop hives. If I am consistent, hives will not appear. The only draw back is having to see a doctor to refill the prescription as there is not an over the counter drug that emulates it.

After a year on this drug i expeirenced severe hip , thigh .leg muscle pain .Slight numbness in both feet with a slight feeling of pins and needles. I picked it because it was a low dose option and I get migraines with higher dosage pills. Also, I liked the idea of not having periods. I did not get migraines but I got short, irregular periods any time. It was worse than getting one predictable period.

My doctor put me on seasonique to help with ovarian cysts & endometriosis. Even on a low estrogen birth control, I was having very painful periods.
