I've been taking Agomelatine for around 4 months now (50mg per day) in a UK based clinical trial. I had taken paroxetine for 12 months immediately prior to this so feel I can make a good comparison between the two. Firstly with Agomelatine i've not noticed any side effects whatsoever, its almost as if you arent taking medication at all, although in saying that it's not been very effective in reducing my depression and anxiety either, although it does help me sleep easier. I've been bouncing from birth control to birth control for over five years. I've finally found some kind of stability with NuvaRing, I don't think I will ever change from NuvaRing. No weight gain, no acne breakouts as well as no symptoms from my menstrual cycle at all.

I was very unhappy with this antibiotic. The side effects I experienced were not worth recovering from the sinus infection any sooner. In the future, I will definitely ask for a 10 day antibiotic.

Took melatonin 300 mg for 4 nights. Excellent sleep first 2 nights; Unremarkable sleep 3rd night; vivid dreams and "drugged" feeling 4th night. Strange body odor and taste in mouth. 5th day, strange stomach distention (very mild gas), slight dizziness, grogginess. I have Hashimoto's so perhaps melatonin is contraindicted for daily use. Will continue to use occasionally for insomnia, but not more than 2 nights a week.
