I was told to take this while we were trying to get pregnant. I had to stop taking it because it left a metalic taste in my mouth and I was very nausea. I had a huge appetite while I was taking this also.

I've been on Dilantin for about 15 years now. I don't like the side effects at all, especially the memory problems, since they seem to get worse. Sometimes I forget a word in the middle of my sentence, I then getflustered and forget my entire thought. I'm also constantly tired and even though I am only 44 years old, I sometimes feel like my 81 year old mother. Day 4..... migraine today..eating....hardly in 2 days, and have had anxiety bouts for last 3. I will give this 2 weeks maybe 3 and then that's it. I had taken zoloft for about 2 years....tried ambien..hated it and went off anything for about 7 months but the depression started to come back so I figure it's worth a try.

My child was given an adult dose every 28 days for 9 months and now has Osteopenia, low D levels (22) and several other bone issues that have made her disable. There are no doctors that will validate that the overdose cased her problems. She was a very active, normal child before this happen. Stay AWAY from this drug at all cost!!

This medication was given to me for strep throat, I guess it got rid of my infection but it tasted bad everytime I swallowed this pill, and I started getting slight diarrhea while I was on this medication. Besides, the diarrhea and the horrible taste to the pill there are no more complaints, but I sure didint like this medication too much due to the horrible taste and diarrhea.
