It is very effective, like the other drugs I used to take for malaria. But whoever decides to take this drug should be ready to deal with the side effects which are fatigue, nausea, and sometimes diarrhea

Even at the highest recommended dose, it doesn't work a full 24 hours. It does cause extreme drowsiness about 30 minutes to an hour after taking, so I take mine at bedtime. It is also quite expensive if you don't have insurance.

My depression has lifted significantly, but not enough to say I think this is a great med for me. I've gained 10 pounds, have frequent bad headaches and believe that my vision has deteriorated. I am much more irritable and intense. I had great success with Prozac for many years and then it just pooped out. Since then I have been on just about every depression med. I was prescribed prednisone for two months to help with colitis. I developed Avascular Necrosis of the hips within 12 months due to this drug. I needed to have my hips replaced at age 31. They said it is a rare side effect, but it isn't rare enough.

I have been using Advil PM for quite sometime now...(even though I know I shouldnt take it that often).. My right leg is now feeling restless ..like its coming back from falling asleep...but throughout the whole day...Ive had this for a month now...I'm glad I found this forum...After reading this, I am not going to take advil PM anymore....Any other experiences?

I love this drug. I look forward to my infusion every month. First infusion went in unable to walk, in a wheelchair. At infusion 6 walking alright with no aid.
