I tried Seasonique once I started being sexuially active again. The first month I developed a yeast infection, which is normal for me when I begin a new BC,then after 4 weeks I began spotting and breakthrough bleeding and this lasted for 2mths, finally I spoke to my OBGYN(who is a wonderful and amazing doctor) and he suggested that I stop that pack and start a new one(which he provided). See my mother's Alz experience above. She got into trouble with only 3/4 of a .5 mg tab a day. When I insisted Mom be sedated for invasive procedures at a hospital ER room, they figured they'd give her a full day's allowed dose at once, so that would be 1.5 mg. That put her in LaLa land allright. I was grateful they used it on this occasion. Overuse of this drug could have stopped her breathing. 22 mg in one day. Good grief. Completely cleared up the acne I had on my chest and back. I did have some slight weight gain, but this turned out to be a plus because when I went on a diet my breasts stayed the same size even though I lost fat everywhere else!

Although it has helped my allergies a lot the only problem I have is that it doesn't last for 24 hours like it says it will. 12 hours is the max sometimes even sooner. It is gradually getting better though.

My daughter took this back in 2007. Many problems bleeding and severe mood changes. She actually took it for Pcos.She is now on neon she is seeing Endo today to possibly get off all birth control.Make sure to use name brands sometimes generics don't work with your system.
