I have just completed my my first pack of Seasonique however around the 4th week of taking them I started bleeding. I am now going into my 2nd week of bleeding and not liking this at all. I am not sure whether I should stop and get my body back on track with normal periods or continue taking the pills in hopes that it will stop the bleeding. I was attracted to Seasonique because of the 4 pds a year but now im not so sure.

im having prolonged bleeding , Ist week it was brown discharge then second week it was bleeding ..i thought i was having my period that continues the whole week and after a week again i got bleeding...im going nutts because of this viginal bleeding.

It works very well for me. I take it to treat my vitamin D deficiency. Last time I went to doctor, my deficiency had improved. It doesn't waste wonderful, but it works so I take it. I usually drink it with orange juice, instead of water, so that it takes the taste away.

I'm on my second pack of LoSeasonique and I've still been having a monthly period, except it's lighter but about two days longer. I'm almost finished with this pack and the bleeding is just now starting to show signs of stopping (it's much lighter and just spotting). I called my doctor and she's switching me to the regular Seasonique, but I'm only going to give it one pack and if things don't get better, I'm going to see about switching completely. I started taking Zocor (simvastatin) for high cholesterol and it has lowered my cholesterol without making any other lifestyle changes (diet or exercise). It has worked consistantly for 10 years and the generic is nice because it was cheap

I took MARAX as a child in 60's, early 70's for asthma. I found it effective, but found it to cause a (to me, scary) side effect my doctor never mentioned: Marax caused me to "see stars" upon rising from sitting position; to the point that this "visual static" (similar to analog TV picture after station goes off the air) made it impossible to see, momentarily, upon rising.
