My name is Kylie, I am 19. I had my first Gardasil shot at age 16 on 4/5/07 and have been sick ever since. To start, this is the most painful shot I've ever experienced. I immediately felt nauseous and nearly passed out while walking to the bathroom to vomit. To everyone on NSAIDs...please be careful! My brother was prescribed naproxin (which is just prescription strength Aleve) for shoulder pain. The Dr kept refilling the prescription for 9 months which resulted in kidney damage. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil, Motrin, Aleve can be dangerous if taken improperly or long term. They aren't "safe" just because you can buy them without a prescription. love it!!! had problem in the first month with spotting and no problems with the spotting since....if it happens you are suppose to stop your pill for a week and let your period come before starting it back up. if the spotting occurs it is your body getting used to the new hormones and it means that your body WANTS A PERIOD. it should only happen once and if you stop the pill for a week and start it right back up it will be fine!!!!
