Since stopping the medication Ive had horrendous side effects which have meant I've spent the last 3 days in bed and I'm still no better. I'm wondering how long these side effects will last. I stopped meds on Monday and have woken up I'll again today. I have sever hot and cold sweats, headache, muscle ache, nausea, general feeling of being unwell like I'm coming down with flu. Will I feel like this for much longer? It's debilitating.

So far after taking just 3 doses I do not really like the medication. It makes me feel really strange. I get dizzy and lightheaded. I take this drug because I have pressure headaches (idiopathic intercranial hypertension) I have had this condition before when I was a teenager and now as an adult I have it again. Hope this drug works have been dealing with this since Feb of 210 and it is now July.

Have been on Carbimazole for just over six months.It was slowly reduced from 40mgs daily to 20mgs after two months. Then after five months found to be over medicated reduced to 10mgs. The symptoms i had whilst being over medicated were extreme exhaustion, dizziness and insomnia to mention a few.I also have severe hot flushes that come every two hour at night . I just recently developed seasonal allergies, so I've been taking this for a few months. I like it more than other meds, such as Benadryl, because it doesn't make you drowsy; you can actually take it at work.

I found amoxicillin to be very helpful when I had bacterial and ear infection. It gave me a speedy recovery most of the times. One bad experience I had with it was during the fall of 2009 when I got a bacterial infection. As I took it, I began to feel nauseated and had head aches later that night.
