Well i've only been taking it for a month and I have had my period for about 2 weeks now. I started it 2 weeks before i was supposed to. I usually only have cramps one day but I've had them for a week straight. I'm giving it another month to even let it even out.

I recieved a cortiosone injection in my shoulder yesterday and almost 5 minutes after having it done I had nausea and the worst headache I have ever had. I also was very weak. I tried to work but had to come home and once I did a slept from 2pm - 8pm when I woke up with a 102.1 fever. I took 1000 mg of tylenol and it still didnt break my fever. The doctor told me take aspirin once a day to help thin my blood. So besides the fact that it relieves headaches and pain, I have no side effects from this medication, and I dont know how effective it is because it thins my blood so I dont know much effect it has done.

To everyone on NSAIDs...please be careful! My brother was prescribed naproxin (which is just prescription strength Aleve) for shoulder pain. The Dr kept refilling the prescription for 9 months which resulted in kidney damage. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil, Motrin, Aleve can be dangerous if taken improperly or long term. They aren't "safe" just because you can buy them without a prescription. I have endometriosis and have tried several birth controls to try and regulate my periods. This specific one made it much worse. I pretty much bled every day for the three months that I was on it.
