My daughter got the 2nd shot and she was paralized from chest down. She has Trans verse mylitis. it's been 5yrs this September. She still is partial paralized on her left side. While one of Gleevec's side affects is diarreha (mine was really severe) I found that by taking 1000mg of vitamin D every other day almost completely stopped it. I didn't find that out until after losing 35 lbs. but if it helps someone else, great. Puffy eyes for 7 years now have made my eyes so beat up looking. Haven't found anything that really helped that. It's a quick fix but the powder is just HORRIBLE/BITTER. Maybe you could introduce flavors to soften the BITTER taste of it.

I am in my final week of the 3 month treatment. I've decided to stretch the final week into 2 weeks - taking one dose a day, instead of two. I believe the withdrawl will be a little easier (hopefully). Chantix certainly did take away the urge to smoke, I haven't had a cigarette since October 24th. (I actually stopped the first week). When taking Benadryl, my allergy symptoms disappear but i often experience extreme dizziness and vertigo. I am continuously fatigued and can never get a good nights rest no matter how tired i am.
