I only took this after my wisdom teeth extraction. It was really great for the pain and seemed to even help the swelling go down in my face. The main downside was that it made me intensely sleepy. I basically slept those days away and didn't eat much. Not too much pain though so I was satisfied and came out of the surgery just fine.

Provigil has significantly affected my performance at work and home. I have energy to do things and think very clearly. It keeps me awake and regulates my sleep cycle. It is rather expensive though. I've developed a tolerance, and my libido is significantly decreased. This has led me to switch stimulants, but I do rate Provigil very highly.

I have been taking this medicine for 2 years, for migraines, and I am now starting to really see problems. I have gotten to the point now that I am lossing my short term memory, even important events! Which makes me terribly afraid. Urinating is difficult as well. I am also very irritable. Another thing is blurred vision. I am seeing my doctor this afternoon to discuss other options.

My daughter was given Yaz because she had horrible cramps and fatigue during her periods. Within 3 weeks she had pain in the back of her thigh - mostly while walking up stairs. I have been taking syntroid for over 1 year to suppress remaining part of thyroid after surgery(pappillary carcinoma). I have: fever, fatigue, nervousiness, high temperature, high blood pressure, tremor, anxiety..... My endocrinologist ignores my symptoms saying that I have to stay on syntroid.
