I began with Effexor a few years ago. It worked wonderfully at first, and then I experienced severe side effects. I switched to Cymbalta with great success without the side effects. Vicodin was used after my wisdom teeth were removed and it relieved virtually all pain I felt and I was left with just a little sensitivity in my jaw. The only problem I had with Vicodin was that it occasionally made one pupil dialate and the other one would remain normal size.
