Sudafed is one of the best cold medications. It's a pill instead of a liquid which is a plus, so it's easy to take. It greatly reduced my headaches, runny nose, cough, sore throat, etc. It left me feeling mildly drowsy, but it's worth it.

woke up with severe pain in left eye; subsided, and then headache (in first month) rash & itching; used 2.5%cortizone;itching left & has now returned, on faced & eyes last time, now all over. Unbalanced when getting out of bed at night & morning. Weak 'jittery' muscles, short of breath, 'feeling faint'.---haven't been to Dr. this mo. but quit these stupid pills today after reading about them! Had already tried Statins with all bad results. This drug was a last ditch effort for me. It was trying this or having ECT which I am strongly against. I am happy that pristiq has given me much needed relief not only from depression but from anxiety as well. The only really awful side effect I had at first was nausea. It was very strong for about 3 weeks and then faded as time has gone on. I would recommend anyone whose tried other medications that haven't worked well for them to try this one.

I recently discontinued Seroquel (last month) because of some mild tardive dyskinesia (in the form of mouth tics). The tics worsened after I stopped taking the medicine, but quickly improved and are now almost 100% gone.
