cymbalta has helped considerably with some sensitivity issues I started experiencing since starting menopause. I have been on an antidepressant for the last 9 years for chronic pain and my body got used to them and they eventually stopped working. Cymbalta seems to work well.

I was prescribed Lupron to stop my periods, which were always painful with heavy bleeding. Since I was in treatment for early stage breast cancer, it was also recommended to control the estrogen, which helped to produce my tumour. I had had two 1-month shots and I am never taking this drug again. I can stand the hot flashes, the exessiuve sleepiness in my case and the feeling of weakness in the muscles. The first 2 months were hell. It felt like every thought had to be pulled through a vat of mollasses to be had. I didn't sleep more than 2 hours in a row, couldn't remember the simplest figures and had to drop 2 classes at school. However, my viral load went undetectable in 30 days and by about the third month things started to get a little better and now I hardly notice the side effects. my eyes are more blurry, concentration out the window, my art work looks like a grade one student, take tyl. ex. strength for my back pain, I go all weird like i'm dizzy but i'm not. maybe my body is getting used to the drug, I've only been on it for three weeks, but I do not like the experiances I'm getting from this drug. I guess I'll have to get used of this drug interactions. Thanks for letting me vent my feelings. I'ts been so frustrating , never been through this before.

When I had appendicitis, I was prescribed Extra strength tylenol for pain which gave me rapid pain relief which is what I really needed. However, it did make me very sleepy.
