I have been on topamax for about 6 or 7 years now for bad seziures.. I have not had one spell since I have been on it.. I have not had any serious side ffects from thiis.. THe one problem i had was some numbness in my hands and tingling but it would come and go. My doctor is not weaning me off of topamax because I just do not want to be on it anymore no particular reason.. but i would recommend this to other people..

Vicodin

I took this after my wisdom teeth were taken out so they were really helpful. But when I did take them, I constantly slept and ate nothing so the lack of energy made me dizzy, and I had two fainting/vomiting spells.

BuSpar

I have been taking Buspar (Burspirone) (5mg) for 6 weeks. I take 1-1/2 tablets (7mg) twice a day. I immediately noticed a warm feeling when I first started but after a month or so I didn't notice it as much. I have PTSD and anxiety has been a real problem for many years. Lamictal

i switched from topamax to lamictal for prevention of migraines. i think it is a very good drug. i also have psych issues, mainly instability. Lamictal has really helped (more so than anything else).

I have taken Analgin, which is sold in many European countries as a pain killer for, toothache, stomachache, headache stuff like that, to releif some pain. Well, now im developing Hives (urticaria), and while taking steroids to treat the hives, i come across to take Analgin (Metamizole) twice, and my whole face swelled up,and the rash worstened a lot, i am starting to think i have become alergic to Metamizole sodium which is present in the Analgin pill. Prednisolone

I've had eczema since I was in the third grade and I had a flare that no lotion or ointment worked on. I was prescribed Prednisolone to treat my eczema and as soon as the next day, my flare began to improve. The downside is you can only use this treatment for a few days but after the week or so that you're on it, lotion and ointments can be used for minor flares.
