I was on the brand medicaiton for about 14 years and just recently changed to the generic in the last year and there was a HUGE difference in the price, but no difference in what is was supposed to do. I really like this medication and i really like the results it has given me !!!

I have experienced the symptoms of Candida to the greatest degree. It made life very difficult to handle and was life threatening due to the deep depression and panic attacks. I have been taking Caprylic Acid - but it only stored the yeast in the groin area - which caused severe itching and wakefull nights. Recently I have found and started taking Candex. Carbimazole is a new drug for me. I am diabetic and it has dropped my iinsulin level slightly. I feel emotionally low. No positive effects yet.

With any antibiotic, it's good to stick with the recommended dosage and duration of treatment. Although I felt better in a few days, failure to take the pills until the end of the noted time caused the pain to return--that's how bacterial resistance develops!
