Severe Nerve pain following surgery to remove a benign tumor. At a very high dose, the pain is controlled, numbed which is a blessing. Side effects arent real good though. Dry Mouth is real bad, Drowsy and tired, loss of sexual function, mental fog, loss of memory, confusion, twitching muscle spasms. Have tried other meds, but this is the only one that has controlled the pain, and unfortunately that makes it worth it for now.

I find that Avil is a great pain reliever when my ankle is swoleen and in pain from the surgury that I had in October. I only take it as needed for pain and find that when I do take it; it is very effective

Initially, Wellbutrin XL definitely helped me to get through my husband's one-year navy deployment, with me having to work part-time, continue working on my Master's degree, and care for my 7 and 9 year olds alone. That was 4 1/2 years ago and I am still on Wellbutrin XL. At this time, I would say my mild depression and anxiety, plus mood swings and lack of patience, are creeping back. Chantx helped me quit smoking for 2 weeks. I had to quit taking it due to me getting a rash all over my body. that was 2 months ago, and i still have the rash. The doctors dont seem to know how to get rid of it. Does chantix work, i think so. I think i would still be smoke free if i could have continued it. Miconazole didn't work for me, so I ended up going back to the doctor. Feels really gross too so it made me feel kind of self concious.
