I have been on Mirena since November of 2009 and I have never been so disappointed in my life. I have really bad cramps and when I take midol compared to pain reliever or pamprin It helps to the max level needed to be able to move about my day. During my period if I didn't have midol I would not be able to function for the first couple of days.

I've used Metformin for about two years now. I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), and was prescribed Metformin in order to help me keep my weight down and decrease my apatite; I am also on birth control. Both pills are keeping my menstrual cycle regular. The only thing that is bothersome about Metformin is that, for the first few days when starting up the pills, I get nauseous and have an upset stomach/diarrhea, but it's nothing that Pepto-Bismol can't handle.
