My doctor prescribed this medication to me when I was 16. My skin was at a point where it was starting to break out a little. When I started doxycycline, I would get extremely nauseated to the point where I would vomit. I then decided that instead of taking it in the mornings, it would be best to take it after my evening meal. It worked out great. I am on day 11 of 14 days and feel sick most of the time. If it gets rid of the rather resistant infection I suppose its worth it but I do feel depressed, probably because it's not a lot of fun to feel sick.

Wonderful for depression, but NO HELP for OCD. Dizziness only lasts first two days and goes away. Do not drive during this time. Do not drink on it, depression may get worse. Excercise combined really helped to recover from the depression I was in.

Has anyone lost their taste due to thyroid medication cause i have and it's the most awful thing and the doc's don't no what to do about it. it's been like this now for 6 months. can anyone help please. was on carbimazole to start with but changed to PTU to see if it made a difference but unfortunately not.
