I've developed a lump in my breast since using the patch. I also have sharp pains in both my breasts since using the patch. My vision has become extremely blurred and I have to wear glasses since using the patch. I've been using Vivelle for about 14 months now. It helps with hot flashes, but the price is too high to pay since my vision is still decreasing. I'm going to stop using it.

I've been searching everywhere to see if anyone else has had the same violent physical reaction to Candex. I am happy I found this page with a couple of posters who have had identical side effects. A year ago, I was put on a regimen of vitamins, fish oil, probiotics, etc., and completely cleaned up my diet. It was recommended that I also introduce Candex, which I did. Anything to feel better! I was looking for something that would help take away my heartburn fast, and this seems to work well. A lot of my friends use it as well ( we are within the age range 20-30). It does take time for it to work, but when it does it works well.

I am a clinical-neuropsychologist.I had a touch of arthritis but of late, I am having swelling and pain in my knees and the leg gets stiff.
