Provigil is an effective medicine in fighting the drowsiness associated with narcolopsy. However, it is incredibly expensive. (close to 450$ per month before insurance and still 90$ after insurance every month!)

I have been diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis (IC). The cause of this medical condition is unknown and there is no known cure. This drug was given to me twice in 24 hrs by IV- I knew the moment it hit my system as I experienced excrutiating pain in my arm muscles and later muscles all around my body felt bruised inside. It was horrible and frightening and I will never go anywhere near this drug again.
