I would have thought 3 months is a long enough trial, I don't think therefore that this one is going to work for you... Have you tried anything else? If this is the next in a long list of "things to try" then can I suggest that you go back to your GP and ask for a dermatology referral. There is a drug called Roaccutane ( you may have heard of it) Yes, its strong and Yes, it does have side effects, but it is effective against acne when all else has failed. I really like tri sprintec . I dont get any spotting even if I miss a pill or two. My acne has cleared up. I dont have any side effects EXCEPT alot of weight gain. I cant fit into any of my clothes and I'm eating much less and alot healthier. Very unsure if I should switch.

I was prescribed Entocort for IBS (very loose stools) by my Gastro. I have been taking them now for almost 2 weeks with one capsule of "Align" probiotic. I have noticed absolutly no change and have discontinued its use.
