Took this medication to stop my preterm labor; it was AWEFUL. ALthough it worked wonderful and stopped the contractions quicky, the side effects were horrible for me. I also suffer from Anxiety so that may have intensified the side effects.

Celebrex works for me and increases my ease of mobility. However, I itch like a crazy woman in my hands and on my lower parts of my fingers. I bite them, they itch so much. I have several patches where I have virtually rubbed off the skin on my hands! It also helps with my hip arthritis. Other than the side effects, it is a good drug, but God knows what it is doing to my heart or liver.

I am a Dane, 31 years old, female, and been taking Keppra for about 3 months. It is the only antiepileptic drug I have been taking, and I have not been taking it with other kinds of medication. My dosis started with 500mg twice a day, for two days, and then it was lowered (due to vertigo) to 250mg twice a day. This just doesn't work. I keep it just as a rescue inhaler because I'm seriously asthmatic and take Advair Diskus religiously. When that fails me (occasionally) I've always used albuterol, but now they took my old standby away I'm stuck with this. Frankly, having a cup of coffee works a whole lot better. I marked that it had made my stress level go up because yeah, it's kind of stressful when you CAN'T BREATHE and your rescue inhaler doesn't rescue you.
