I have been using Depo-Provera for about 5 years, and the experience for me has had pros and cons. I also got the Gardasil vaccine and yes it ruined my life too! Two years ago I received it and started developing severe acne on my face. I had two of the three shots. I want to warn everyone who I can that this shot could perhaps ruin their life. Some people are severely affected and some are not. I got my thyroid radiated 9 yrs ago and went hypo soon after. I was prescibed levoxyl but I have never felt the same. I still have a goiter but smaller. I'm often cold and have low energy but my hands shake and at night I have trembling in my torso and arms. If my thyroid was radiated, is some of it still active and can I switch to different meds.? Medication didn't digest well and as a result was lodged in my esophagus. This caused the lining of my esophagus to burn away and I was unable to eat or drink effectively for approximately 7 days. In addition, it caused me to be hospitalized and caused a great deal of pain.
