Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour. How did it go with the gyno? There was some evidence in the trials that women who already had HPV when they got the Gardasil shot had a very significantly higher risk of developing cervical cancer. Merck shuffled the trial data to make the numbers go away - I'm sure some of the 're-dos' were legitimate, but hmmm - and got the increased risk down to where the FDA would approve it although they expressed concern. I'VE BEEN TAKING LIPITOR FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS. ALSO SOMETIMES IF I HAVE A HEADACHE I WILL TAKE EITHER ADVILS OR A GOODY POWDER,I'M NOT SURE,IF THE LIPITOR WOULD CAUSE SMALL BLOOD VESSELS TO BREAK OUT ON MY ARMS OR IF ITS THE COMBINATION FROM THE ADVILS OR GOODY POWDER,I'VE TAKEN ADVILS AND GOODY POWDERS WHEN NEEDED FOR YEARS BEFORE EVER TAKING LIPITOR.WOULD ANYONE KNOW?? I have been taking Avonex for about 15 years. I credit Avonex for my ability to keep walking and to continue living a fairly normal life, with a family and a 20-hour job. I think I would be in a wheelchair if I never took Avonex.
