My Doctor just removed me off Junel Fe. Even at the highest recommended dose, it doesn't work a full 24 hours. It does cause extreme drowsiness about 30 minutes to an hour after taking, so I take mine at bedtime. It is also quite expensive if you don't have insurance.

I was taking it to assist with weight loss and took it for about 45 days or more until I noticed the side effects of constipation (which I do not normally have) and gas. I have stopped taking it about 4 days ago, once I researched the side effects. I was trying to determine why I was having the abdominal problems. It is not painfull constipation but very infrequent. However my appetite was decreasing while taking the 5HTP. I am now trying to get it oujt of my system.

I was 17 weeks pregnant when I had a shingles outbreak. This was my second instance of a shingles outbreak, but first time using Valtrex. The last time I had a shingles outbreak was at age 7 (20+ years ago). I was in pain and worried about my pregnancy. Dear Sir Very difficult to tolerate HETRAZAN. Took course in 1976 for Eosinophilia while posted at FATEHPUR (U P )Could not complete Oral course, switched to I/M unicarbazone. Completed course but remained drowsed with side effects.Now again in 2010 taking Hetrazen from last 4 days and doused with drowsiness,dizziness,sleepy,unable to concentrate.
