it's very hard for me to judge my experience with any one drug. I take at least a dozen medications, so I'm not sure what side effects are from what drugs. I believe the accupril was prescribed to me for my Raynauds and it seems to help.

I took MARAX as a child in 60's, early 70's for asthma. I found it effective, but found it to cause a (to me, scary) side effect my doctor never mentioned: Marax caused me to "see stars" upon rising from sitting position; to the point that this "visual static" (similar to analog TV picture after station goes off the air) made it impossible to see, momentarily, upon rising. I've been using the generics for Loestrin, one called Microgestin and another called Junel and the side effects are more noticeable with Microgestin than Junel.

Tums helps alleviate minor stomach problems. However it does not help for anything which causes a lot of pain. It helps with minor annoyances. Yes it does help some pain go away, but it isnt pain that is unbearable, it is just as easy to wait out the pain.
