I've taken Lisinopril for about 12 years. The last year and a half I started to get a "patchy numbness" on the bottom of my feet. I felt that this was most likely due to the addition of Clonidine to my blood pressure Rx's. I told my doctor about this and she then doubled my Clonidine. After that, the numbness got worse and I started to develop a rash around my ankles. It got to a point where I had to insist getting off the Clonidine. There are so many different kinds of medications out there. You aren't just going to immediately find the right one for you. It's all about trial and error. Trust me, it's an agrivating process and I've wanted to give up many times (I started trying different meds about 7 months ago) I have confedence that I will find one right for me. I agree. Suboxone did for me what 10 years of heroin & methadone couldnt. I've been able to keep my job, regain my sanity & productiveness, stay off illegal opiates & best of all, its convenient. No methadone clinics every morning, waiting in line for my single dose.. it's prescribed and administered at home.
