I use a mix of drugs as preventive for my "Cluster" condition one is Topamax. At first I was on 250mg and it was terrible as I lost weight, dizzy, total lack of concentration and at time could not even remember my telephone number or home address. I was on TriNessa since I needed a generic for my insurance. I had no major emotional issues or weight gain. I think it did clear up my face--although I have never had a huge acne problem--only occasional breakout--which I had zero on this med. The problem for me was the breakthrough bleeding. First few months just some occasional spotting--I thought I was just getting used to it--but by month 5--I was bleeding for over 2 weeks straight--not really heavy--but enough to have to wear a pantylin... Clindamycin Hydrochloride

This is being given to my child to fight a MRSA infection that required surgery. We are hoping to get her switched out of it if her MRSA is susceptible to something else, as the side effects are really unpleasant. Her finger and toe joints are swelling and itchy; she throws up unless given anti-nausea meds; she's not eating; she sleeps a ton. That said, MRSA is also very unpleasant so sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

Retin-A Micro

Retin-a micro definitely helped in treating my stubborn acne. When my dermatologist said it would make me break out at first, I freaked out. However, that never happened. With doxycycline and benzamycin, my skin looked much better in just a few weeks. No negative side effects.

I take Calcium with Vitamin D because the doctor says the Vitamin D helps the calcium to be absorbed better.

Copaxone

This drug is making me very sick. I took copaxone for 2 years previously but stopped for 1.5 yrs due to tissue erosion. almost 4 years later the dents in my body are still there and each injection seems to erode more tissue. I will be stopping copaxone for good and not using any of the disease modifying drugs. my fatigue has become soooo bad since re-starting the copaxone.
