I've been searching everywhere to see if anyone else has had the same violent physical reaction to Candex. I am happy I found this page with a couple of posters who have had identical side effects. A year ago, I was put on a regimen of vitamins, fish oil, probiotics, etc., and completely cleaned up my diet. It was recommended that I also introduce Candex, which I did. Anything to feel better! I have never had hallucinations in my life. I'm a 39 yr old female and was taking it for severe sinusitus and ear infections which I have been battling since this spring due to allergies. My Dr. gave me xyzal. I am an extremely calm, rational person. I believe that propecia is a great drug. For me personally, I have no side effects. Even though it hasnt been 100 percent successful, I believe it has made a difference compared to other products in the market. I believe that its too expensive, one of the negatives of this drug.

I have diabetes, treated with oral and insulin. Also treated for high trigycerides, high cholesterol, and bp. Carving for sugar has increased, gained 10# and all readings have jumped up remarkably since starting this medication. At first it helped the pain in my hands and generalized/overall aching pain.
