THIS DRUG SHOULD NOT BE ON THE MARKET!!! It causes PERMANENT sexual dysfunction, swelling, fatigue, depression and sleep problems. Contrary to what Merck claims: these side-effects are NOT temporary. There should be a full investigation into how this drug got approved. It has completely destroyed my life! In 2003, I attempted to commit suicide as a direct result of the drug's after-effects. Other people are telling similar stories on the internet.

**** keep in mind that I have a pretty strong anxiety disorder, femcon has exasperated it but in no way cause it. my stats: taking it for three weeks to help with my acne, 27 years old, good health, was on orthricycline low 3 years ago without any problems. I've been on Cryselle for four months...and it's horrible! I've had two uti's and think I have another now. I go to dr tomorrow to see. I've had vaginal itching, bloating, abdominal pain, acne, and headaches. I feel better on my period! As soon as I start a new pack, I immediately feel sick and usually develop a uti. By the time I start, I'm just getting over my antibiotic. The only contraceptive part of this med is it makes me so sick that I can't even imagine having sex!!

I receive B12 shots from my doctor because my levels are low. I can tell a huge difference in my fatigue levels and energy when I need another shot. It makes a big difference and helps me to have more energy when I get the shots and keeps my levels at the right amount.
