I was 17 when I had my 3 Gardasil shots and 17 when I was diagnosed with RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS following the shots. It took a year for doctors to realize I had RA because I was a competitive athlete (they thought my joints were swollen because I have always been an athlete). I'm 31 and have had nephrotic syndrome with flares every 6 months since I was 2. Bone density test shows my bones are stronger than most healthy people, but I drink a lot of milk. When I'm on Prednisone I cut salt out of my diet as much as possible (there's a lot of salt in milk) knowing that the more I eat, the more I will swell. cymbalta has helped considerably with some sensitivity issues I started experiencing since starting menopause. I have been on an antidepressant for the last 9 years for chronic pain and my body got used to them and they eventually stopped working. Cymbalta seems to work well.

It worked well at first but I am having a rebound effect of heartburn now. I need to see thdoctor. I have read recently that keeping your stomach acid down can contribute to other bacteria building up in the stomach.
