I took MARAX as a child in 60's, early 70's for asthma. I found it effective, but found it to cause a (to me, scary) side effect my doctor never mentioned: Marax caused me to "see stars" upon rising from sitting position; to the point that this "visual static" (similar to analog TV picture after station goes off the air) made it impossible to see, momentarily, upon rising. This drug was supposed to raise my Hdl, I took it only 3 or 4 times as it really caused my blood sugar to spike. If you are diabetic I would not recommend this

I was on Imitrex for many years and went through horrible after affects. With Zomig I have some but not nearly as horrid as with Imitrex. I take 5 mg. with Vicodin. I would recommend anyone to try Zomig if you have migraines.
