I was put on Ortho Tri-Cyclen as an attempt to regulate my menstrual cycle and hopefully to help lessen the intense, almost debilitating cramps I experienced every month. It helped with no side effects for me, and also had the added benefit of clearing up my acne, which I hadn't expected.

I've never been a huge fan of Tylenol, so I switched to Ibuprofen and I have found that is more effective than other brands and also fast-acting.

I have fibromyalgia and was very hopeful while taking this medicaiton but to tell you the truth my life was a living hell. I found myself in a deep dark place I had never been before, I think if it wasn't for my faith I don't know what this medication would have caused me to do. Please have all doctors watch there patients very carefully! I am a 48 yr. old women and I had these side effects not a young person like your ads warn. I have not had any medical tests or feedback since cmmencement. I feel the dosage is too high and have cut it to one tablet every second day and I feel much better. i have added 2000 of omega 3 or one pill at noon and one in the evening. I should learn if this produces lower colestrol after mynext medical chck up.

i was on yaz before and ortho-tricyclen lo before that. ortho mad em gain a bunch of weight and i had really bad depression and anxiety. I went on Yaz and did'nt have many side effects except a drop in sex drive. However after two years i started getting abnormal periods - where i would bleed for a month at a time and got anemic. I switched to Junel and was worried because of some of the reviews i have read. I really like it, i have a heightened sex drive and have probably lost about 5 pounds... View full comment
