I was nervous to get the Mirena because I typically do not do well with any dose of hormones. The only birth control method that has worked for me in the past is the Paragard but unfortunately after about 6 months, my body rejected it. I absolutely love the Mirena and plan to use it until I am ready to get pregnant. I am 25 and have never had children. Since going on Aromasin, I have to take laxatives 2x per week. I was taking Amitriptyline for fibromyalgia but had to go to a much higher dose for the pain and insomnia. Then I started getting side affects because the dose was too high. Dr. put me on a couple of other meds that help with the pain and sleep, but I don't think it will get any better until I stop taking the Aromasin.

after 3 surgeries due to a ruptured disc which didn't work, including the installation of neurostimulator, I had been put on about evry possible pain med. I disliked the side effects of Oxycontin,Vicodin and Percocet and thought I was screwed but after moving and going to a new Dr. who put me on Opana ER I was finally able to find relief and cut down on the number of pills I had to take avery day as well as eliminating the Tylenol which is bad for your liver. woke up with severe pain in left eye; subsided, and then headache (in first month) rash & itching; used 2.5%cortizone;itching left & has now returned, on faced & eyes last time, now all over. Unbalanced when getting out of bed at night & morning. Weak 'jittery' muscles, short of breath, 'feeling faint'.---haven't been to Dr. this mo. but quit these stupid pills today after reading about them! Had already tried Statins with all bad results. Zyrtek worked great in the first few months that I used it. I had to stop because of the frequent headaches that I started getting. A few months ago I decided to try it again when my allergies were really bad and I got another bad headache and haven't used it since.
