If you are in severe pain, I really didn't feel any effects. After surgery and a good bit of pain was removed, I found out that tizanidine is rather powerful. I usually take a small amount, 2mg per day, until my pain rises, then I take as needed up to maximum dose. I know when to drop the dosage when I feel like par-boiled chicken and my muscles feel like they're going to fall off my bones. That is one strange feeling. I have always had a lot of joint pain and headaches. I take Tylenol to get rid of them. When I was younger, I used to break bones a lot and taking Tylenol helped once they had healed and I just had aches.

I took lysteda three years, symthoms got way worse, lost hair, miserable, went to new doctor, needed surgery, for large fibroid and polyp, took one hour , and never bled again, should of did this a long time ago, three months and feel great, get second apinion, or third, I did, wish I did not waist so much time, was not worth it, I was on sofa one week a month for over three years, even on the lysteda, get help.

I take it whenever I have cramps from my period and it takes away the pain in about 20-30 minutes! I feel better after taking it because I have no pain and I can concentrate more on what I'm doing rather than how I am feeling.
