I thought Midrin was discontinued. Then I found http://www.Midrin.org and was able to acquire some by asking for the generic name Epidrin. Thank god!

Severe hypertension from childhood. Medicated since 1963. Anaphalactic shock due to medication in 1996 resulted in medication change to Micardis HCT. Five years ago, dosage reduced by half due to excellent control. Now 77 years old, very healthy, active, walk 4 miles per day in 70 minutes. Least amount of side effects of any medication I have taken in 47 years.

woke up with severe pain in left eye; subsided, and then headache (in first month) rash & itching; used 2.5%cortizone;itching left & has now returned, on faced & eyes last time, now all over. Unbalanced when getting out of bed at night & morning. Weak 'jittery' muscles, short of breath, 'feeling faint'.---haven't been to Dr. this mo. but quit these stupid pills today after reading about them! Had already tried Statins with all bad results. my main problem i am putting on so much weight not eating any more than befor but am putting on about 3lb per week very shortly will have no clothes that will fit cant really afford to buy a lot of new ones
